Como criar um arquivo .jar executável usando comandos do Linux e sem o Atalho do Eclipse?

Até agora para mim foi tão fácil clicar com o botão direito do mouse no Eclipse IDE e criar um arquivo .jar executável com alguns cliques simples. Na semana passada eu tive que criar .jar file manually
no meu nó Digital Ocean no qual geralmente hospedamos muitos serviços.
Levou algum tempo para criar o arquivo .jar diretamente usando apenas comandos, mas finalmente após 10 minutos, o arquivo .jar executável estava pronto.

Vamos começar:
Etapa 1) Certifique-se de ter o Java instalado no sistema Linux
Se o Java já estiver instalado, vá para a step-4
diretamente. Tente executar o comando javac
e, se você vir o resultado abaixo, não há nenhuma instalação do Java no host.
